My name is S.L. Stevens. I write historical fiction and
spend way too much time researching. My current project is a novel about one of
ancient Egypt’s most powerful queens. I studied Egyptology in Cairo, which is a
pretentious way of saying that I spent a semester in the desert. I blog about
history and writing. When I’m not procrastinating, I’m knitting or doubling the
amount of spices in a recipe.
